In the United States, the film (titled Atomic Betty: The Movie for American audiences) was released as a direct-to-video release on Blu-ray 3D, Blu-ray and DVD by Shout! Factory (under the Shout! Factory Kids banner).

Betty became a normal schoolgirl, who is dreaming about leaving Earth and living in the galaxy by wishing to become a Galactic Guardian.
